As part of its efforts to enhance professional service delivery and brand positioning, a frontline manufacturer of paints and allied products, Berger Paints Nigeria (BPN) Plc, has appointed Mr Ayokunle Ayoko, as its Company Secretary and Legal Adviser.
 
Ayoko is skilled in legal aspects of corporate finance, sports law, legal advisory, corporate and commercial practice, and has worked in the banking, finance, and insurance industries. 

He has also been involved in providing secretarial and business advisory support to start-ups and established firms in the Nigerian economy.

 
Ayoko brings on board considerable legal and company secretarial experience, having worked in the Company Secretariat of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, and FBN Holdings Plc.

He subsequently served as Company Secretary to the following subsidiaries of FBN Holdings Plc. – FBN Insurance Limited, FBN General Insurance Limited (jointly owned by FBN Holdings Plc. and Sanlam Group, South Africa) and FBN Insurance Brokers Limited, prior to joining Berger Paints.

He holds an L.LB (Hons) degree from the University of Ibadan and has been called to the Nigerian Bar.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and the International Bar Association (IBA).

He is a sports enthusiast, television analyst, swimmer and newspaper columnist with several published articles covering a variety of issues including sports law, politics, law and the economy.
