Bisalla resumes as perm sec in Delta ministry

The new Permanent Secretary of the ministry of Niger Delta, Mr Aminu Aliyu Bisalla has assumed duties. Bisalla thanked the staff and said his mission in the Ministry is to support the Minister in carrying out the Ministry’s mandate.He called on the management and staff of the Ministry to adapt team spirit in the discharge of their duties saying the success of the ministry lies in group work.

He noted that as a specialized ministry, much is expected from them to make life better for the people of the Niger Delta region and the country in general.The new Permanent Secretary vowed to run a transparent and accountable office that would guarantee efficiency and effectiveness in the running of government affairs in the Ministry.

The Director of finance in the ministry, Mr Moses Okpo, while welcoming the new Accounting Officer to the Ministry disclosed that the Ministry was set up to carry out intervention programmes and projects in the Niger Delta region.Okpo assured the new permanent secretary of the support and cooperation of the staff of the ministry towards the development of the Niger Delta region and the country.
