Buhari re-appoints Akor as DG of NPC
President Muhammadu Buhari has re-appointed Dr Kashim Yunusa Akor as the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC) for another term of four years.
His approval was conveyed in a letter Ref No. SGF 58597/TAB/11/T1/73, dated July 10, 2019 and signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
A statement by the Head, Public Relations Unit, NPC, Victor Ainoko, said Dr Akor, a productivity expert and consultant of note brought appreciable level of progress to the centre during his first tenure, which attracted both national and international recognition.
Akor is presently the vice president of the Pan-Africa Productivity Association (PAPA). The statement added that his re-appointment took effect from May 20, 2019.
