Club elects Lasisi president

Lasisi attended Ogunlade Primary School, Alaba-Oro, Lagos for his primary education before proceeding to Temidare Secondary School, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos for his secondary education.

Ikorodu Metro Lions Club, District 404 A1, has elected Ibrahim Lasisi as the 19th president.

Lasisi, a seasoned and renowned management expert, is expected to hold sway for the 2022/2023 Lions service year.

He will take over the mantle of leadership in an investiture ceremony expected to hold in Ikorodu on October 2, 2022.

Lasisi attended Ogunlade Primary School, Alaba-Oro, Lagos for his primary education before proceeding to Temidare Secondary School, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos for his secondary education.

He later went to Yaba College of Technology where he graduated with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting.

Due to his search for more academic laurels, Lasisi later proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University where he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and then a Master of Business Administration specialising in Human Resource Management.

In 2020, he bagged a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the prestigious National Teachers Institute.

He had a distinguished working career of over 20 years, spanning office administration and management, human resource management, finance and investment, customer relations, protocol and logistics, marketing and consultancy.

Lasisi, who has spent the greater part of his work life in the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), rose through the ranks to become Senior Manager, Directorate of Capacity Building, where he currently heads the marketing arm of the directorate.

Lasisi, equally is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transportation Administration of Nigeria and a fellow, Institute of Management Consultants.

He is a renowned motivational speaker and youth development expert, who has attended many management and leadership training both within and outside the country since he joined Lions Club in 2016.

A devout Muslim, he is married and blessed with children.
