The former member of House of Representatives further explained that the main essence of the advisory council among others was to help the new board provide technical advice, source for windows of opportunities for private public partnership, deploy their expertise to facilitate the incentives for project conceptualization and funding.

He said with abandon projects dotted across the catchment areas of Akwa Ibom and Cross River states, the Board in the exercise of its oversight responsibility on the implementation of its core mandates, good corporate governance and supervision of public policy directions, has decided by its resolution to suspend all activities, investments and negotiations on all new land acquisition.
