Family life technology celebrated one year anniversary recently in Lagos. Precisely on May 4th 2024, Family Life Technology launched its first MVP, Elmaf.co, a web app that connects users to experts in individual, marriage, relationship, and family life practices.

The anniversary was celebrated on the May 3rd 2924 at the Heal and Lead conference, where Joan Anuoluwa Ologundudu convened seasoned speakers with years of expertise.

The conference featured speakers and experts such as David Folaranmi, an addiction recovery expert. He is currently the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Association of advocates against alcohol harm in Nigeria. Other speakers include, Esther Ideh, who shared her remarkable life story, as well as Tope Okodugha.

According to Joan, “seven milestones of Family Life Technology in the past year are, “we gained 32 experts on Elmaf.co, our web app; two partners came on board, the Institute of Counselling Nigeria (ICN) and Attitude Development International (ADI); Elmaf.AI chatbot was developed; three Ai solutions projects were worked on; ten registered and seventy six intending affiliates came on board; a community of 271 members and 128 members of the Heal and Lead Community.

Others include, “support of people who follow us across our social media and have goodwill toward us; we celebrated the anniversary at the Heal and Lead conference because it intersects with the overarching vision of family life technology, which is to bring healing and wholeness. The conference was heavily centred on the need to heal and lead from trauma, emotional pain, and wounds.”

Participants who registered for the conference were asked to join a post-conference community where more resources on emotional wellness will be shared frequently. They were also urged to seek out experts on Elmaf.co to give them further personalized sessions if they need more help.

Family life technology, amongst other things, seeks to recognize professionals who have invested years of service to humanity, especially with regard to restoring healing and wholeness to individuals and families.

In conclusion, she disclosed, “prior to the conference, we made a call for award nominations for the Healers Award. At the conference, all the nominees for the Healers’ Award 2025, as well as the winner of the Award were announced. These were some of the partners we had who supported Family Life Tech and the heal and lead conference in publicity.”
