Heirs Insurance Group has secured double recognition on the 2026 Financial Times (FT) ranking of Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies, with Heirs Life Assurance Limited and Heirs General Insurance emerging among the continent’s leading growth companies.

In the ranking, Heirs Life Assurance placed seventh, while Heirs General Insurance ranked 41st among 130 companies recognised across diverse sectors of the African economy.

The company said the recognition reflects strong growth recorded by both firms over the assessment period, driven by technology-led innovation, expanding retail operations, customer-focused services and operational efficiency.

Sector Head of Heirs Insurance Group, Niyi Onifade, described the recognition as validation of the group’s commitment to sustainable growth and digital transformation within Nigeria’s insurance industry.

According to him, the group would continue to focus on improving customer experience, expanding insurance access and strengthening financial inclusion across Africa.

The recognition comes shortly after the launch of Prince AI, the group’s multi-language generative artificial intelligence assistant developed to simplify access to insurance services and improve customer engagement.
