FUNAAB appoints Osinuga as acting bursar

A Chartered Accountant, Olukayode Osinuga has been appointed as Acting Bursar of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).Osinuga’s appointment is stated in a letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.Olusola Kehinde, with effect from August 16.

A statement signed by the varsity’s Head,
Directorate of Public Relations, Kola Adepoju, said Osinuga’s appointment came on the heels of the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past bursar, Chukwuwinke Ezekpeazu.

Osinuga joined the service of the University in June 1998 as Accountant 1. Until he was appointed Acting Bursar, Osinuga was Deputy Bursar I in FUNAAB.

He holds Bsc Accounting, from Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, FUNAAB, MSc in Accounting, from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile -Ife and MBA in Agribusiness, FUNAAB.

Osinuga is the immediate past Bursar of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration, Ondo, Ondo State, Nigeria. He has attended various professional and management training workshops within and outside the country.The Acting Bursar, who is celebrated as a genius in his profession, has won many awards within and outside the University.
