The Chairman of the Kaduna state Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Garba Muhammad has been removed from the position.

Muhammad’s removal was endorsed by the Council, at a Congress held at the State NUJ Secretariat in Kaduna recently which was presided over by the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Zhiroh Jatau.

The sacked State Chairman, Mohammad was accused of breaching the constitutional provisions of the Union and high-handedness against other Council officials which led to his removal from office through a vote of no confidence and subsequent impeachment.

A communiqué issued and signed by the Chairman of the Communique drafting committee, John Fwah and Secretary, Shindong Bala said that the removal of Mohammad from office was informed by the serious constitutional breaches against him at the congress of the NUJ Kaduna Chapter.
