NAPHARM inducts Amibor, 19 others as fellows

The Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy (NAPHARM) has inducted the immediate past National Chairman of the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHAPN), Dr. Kingsley Amibor and 19 other leading pharmacists as Fellows.
   
Amibor is a deputy director of Pharmaceutical Services at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, where he succeeded in reshaping the practice in collaboration with his colleagues, as a member of the Pharmacy Top Management Committee. 
     


Amibor is a strong advocate of pharmaceutical care, a paradigm shift in pharmacy practice that is patient-focused, for which he has earned several awards. Some of these awards include the Nigeria Association of Pharmacists in Academia (NAPA) Professional Excellence Award, Pfizer Excellence Award, Presidential Distinguished Service Award and many others. 
     
The clinical pharmacist is a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).
 
He holds a master’s degree in public health, doctorate degree in pharmacy and several others. Amibor has served the pharmacy profession meritoriously in various capacities for over three decades.
