Nigerian Breweries Plc has appointed Nkechi Runsewe as the new human resources director.

According to the brewery firm, the appointment will take effect on August 1, 2026.

It said Runsewe, who joins Nigerian Breweries from its parent company, HEINEKEN, will replace Grace Omo-Lamai, who will retire from the company on July 28, after nearly a decade of distinguished service.

A statement by the company’s Corporate Affairs Director, Uzo Odenigbo, said Runsewe would play a central role in translating Nigerian Breweries’ EverGreen 2030 strategy into reality by shaping the organisation’s design, leadership behaviours, workforce capabilities and performance systems to deliver sustained volume growth, cost discipline and repeatable performance.
