Oyibo emerges as FOBTOB’s new president
Jimoh Oyibo of Intercontinental Distillers has emerged as the new national president of the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association (FOBTOB).
The immediate deputy national president got the nod during the body’s 14th national delegates’ conference held in Abuja.
He succeeds Quadri Olaleye of Nestle Plc, who is currently the president of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria.
Other members of the new executive committee include the deputy national president, Adebayo Aderogba; national treasurer, Bunmi Adesanya; vice president, western zone, Lanre Yusuf; vice president, eastern zone, Christopher Amadi; vice president, northern zone, Naziru Bichi and acting general secretary, Iyeye Peter.
Others are trustee, northern zone, Makinde Solomon; trustee, western zone, Onyeabor Nwachukwu and trustee, eastern zone, Obot Asuquo.
While Olaleye is to serve the new executive committee as an ex-officio, Buhari Isiaka will serve as ex-officio of the western zone; Sunday Obozue for the eastern zone and Mahdi Mohammed will serve as ex-officio of the northern zone.
