Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has described the late Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, a past Head of Service in Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), as a loyal officer and a transformer who dedicated his life to the development of the state and the common good.

The governor urged Lagosians to draw inspiration from Ajose’s exemplary life of service to humanity and positive encouragement which would continue to inspire all for a greater Lagos.

The governor, who spoke through his wife, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, said this at the public presentation of the biography of the late Dr. Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, titled ‘The Sunny Side of Ajose’, in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. He noted that Ajose epitomised the quality ideals of civil service.

In his speech, Lagos State Head of Service, Olabode Agoro, urged civil servants to emulate the late Ajose who left a good legacy with his selfless service to humanity as captured in his biography.

Agoro added that the state government will continue to appreciate his contributions, not just to reforming the civil service but also to its development.
Earlier, the author of the book, Ololade Olatunji, described the book as a lighthouse for future leaders who dare to stand out in rendering services to the public and humanity.

Also, the book reviewer and former Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Olanrewaju Fagbohun, explained that the book through its 14 chapters captured the journey, triumphs, and legacies of the man, Ajose.
