WITIN announces new advisory board for 2020-2022

Women in Technology in Nigeria (WITIN) has announced the appointment of new Advisory Board Members for July 2020 to July 2022. WITIN is one of the world’s largest and leading community of women in tech registered as non-profit organisation and association in Nigeria.

Speaking on the appointment, the Founder of WITIN, Martha Alade, said they were committed to the advancement of women and girls in technology.

She reiterated that WITIN fosters opportunities in tech; promotes tech leadership, digital skills and entrepreneurship initiatives and advocates gender equity reforms for women and girls.

The new board comprises Ms. Gloria Anozie-Young, Mrs Rakiya Shuaibu Mohammed, Ms. Ulrika Sultan; Chris Uwaje; Dr (Mrs) Markie Idowu; Ms. Bunmi Afolabi; Ms. Olatomiwa Williams; Tiwalade Modupe Usman; Banke Alawaye; Ms. Mercy Orangi; Tim Akinbo; Aderonke Christine Adeyegbe; Prof. Virginia Ebere Ejiofor; Prof. Uche C. Isiugo-Abanihe, and Mrs Martha Omoekpen Alade.

WITIN President said that the new members of the advisory board are men and women of impeccable character, professionals and dedicated to the course of showcasing the amazing women in the tech ecosystem as role model for girls while working closely with educators to bridge the leaky pipeline in STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Maths).
