Aity Dennis marks 50th birthday with a book

Lagos came to a standstill recently, as gospel music star, Aity Dennis, marked her 50th birthday in grand style at The MegaLife Centre, Sure Word Assembly, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos.

Lagos came to a standstill recently, as gospel music star, Aity Dennis, marked her 50th birthday in grand style at The MegaLife Centre, Sure Word Assembly, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos.

Indeed, it was a day to remember as the event witnessed captivating performances and the presence of gospel music artistes like Ibiso, Broda Martyns,  Pita, Tosin Martins, Chinelo, Ola Hassan, Bukky Olugbono, Praise Machine, Bibi, Ethel, Emeka Aaron, Linda Etukudo,Chibuzor Barth-Akaba, Queen Favour , Tobore etc . The host choir called The Tribe of Judah, the Women of Excellence dance troupe & Awesome dance crew also performed. The climax of the evening was when the celebrant performed her hit track, Amkpaidem, to the delight of the audience. 

To mark the event, Aity also released a beautiful new book entitled He Kept Me which chronicles the experiences of her life, her trials and triumphs. In her remarks, the singer thanked God for keeping her alive and blessing her in every way. “From Mama Nothing God transformed me to Mama Three. I am so overwhelmed today. God has been good to me,” she enthused.

The event was graced by several men and women of God led by Dr Sylvanus Ukafia, who preached the word and blessed the celebrant ; Rev Akwatang, Special adviser to Akwa Ibom State Government on religious matters; Apostle Elishama Ideh;  Pst Jane Pela; Pst Nkechi Ali-Balogun; Pst Aidee Imo-Umana etc.
