Prolific singer and record producer, John Ighodaro, professionally known as Johnny Drille, has revealed that he is no longer afraid of performing on stage.

He said this on a sideline of a chat with Lloyd Beck on Check It Tv, just days away to his annual Johnny’s Room Live show, scheduled for this Sunday.

“I do get it every now and then, but it is not as bad as it used to be back in the day. Then, there was always something about being backstage that terrified me. These days, it is easier. Once I get on stage and see the fans, the fright is all gone,” he says, responding to whether or not he still feels the butterflies in his belly on stage.

The record producer, mixing engineer, songwriter and singer also shared that of all his talents, performing on stage is the one he ultimately enjoys.

“Of all my talents, I think it is a thing that all of them benefit each other. It is easier for me to create musical ideas and produce them exactly how they sounded in my head. Then, of course, there is the singing too. If I am being honest, I do enjoy mixing music the most; because that is less of a mind-bugging process. But of everything, I ultimately enjoy performing. All of them are intertwined though.”
