Post Production is next for award winning filmmaker Kunle Afolayan as the production force behind hit flicks such as Anikulapo and Naija Christmas wraps up shoot on his latest feature Ijogbon.

After an intense 21 days of filming, the filmmaker shared a post on his social media handles, which he spiced with set pictures, where he announced a warp on the set of the Netflix movie produced by Afolayan’s KAP Motion/Golden Effects Pictures.

Written by award winning screen writer Tunde Babalola, the movie is set in Igbojaye/Komu/Bab’ode in Oyo State and it is promoted as a coming-of-age family adventure about four teenagers — Jamiu, Ranti, Oby and Omooba from a rural community in South West Nigeria who stumble on a bag full of diamonds and conceal it, much to their regret.

Starring some of the industry respected actors including Sam Dede, Yemi Solade, Yemi Sodimu, Femi Branch, Tana Adelana, Gabriel Afolayan, Bimbo Manuel, Adunni Ade and Dorathy Bachor, the Netflix film, according to Afolayan, will explore human emotions defined by peculiar cultural belief and cultural background.

Ijogbon is the third of Kunle Afolayan’s partnership deal with Netflix after Anikulapo and A Naija Christmas. Afolayan hinted that the “film promises to take moviegoers on a thrilling adventure journey that will keep them on the edge of their seat, from the very first scene.”
