It’s a wrap, and the excitement is palpable as award-winning director, Toka Mcbaror, announces the conclusion of shoot of Made In Heaven, the latest movie by Peekaboo Global Consulting Limited after 21 days on set.

The movie, which is billed for a summer 2019 release, was co-produced with Newlink Entertainment Limited, NewOhens Limited, and Corporate World Entertainment Limited, one of the biggest and most successful audio-visual content production companies in Nigeria.

Made in Heaven features a cast of talented Nigerian actors and actresses including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ayo Makun, Toyin Abraham, Prince Jide Kosoko, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Nancy Isime, Lasisi Elenu, Kemen Big Brother, Uche Nwaefuna, Erica Nlewedim, Greg Ojefua, Sam Sunny, and Jay Franklin Jituboh to name a few.

The movie is a hilarious blend of love, drama, action and fantasy, as it explores the interventions of the spiritual in the day-to-day lives its central characters.

It analyses the lives of Richard and Angela, two romantics who have always fallen into bad and sometimes abusive relationships. By a queer twist of fate, they both die on the same night within hours of each other and meet on the hallway to judgment.

Things quickly change when Angela is informed that she is being returned to her earthly body. Richard is devastated and seeks to also return to the world. His request is refused but he tricks his way out of heaven.

He is confronted by his Guardian Angel and given a choice: win Angela’s heart in seven days or face dire consequences. He accepts the challenge and begins his quest.

While speaking on the project, the producer, Darlington Abuda describes the movie as a labour of love and a testament that hard work prevails.

He expresses appreciation to the management of Filmone Distribution for its invaluable support in the production of the movie and the development of Nollywood 2.0.

“The duo of Mr. Moses Babatope and Mr. Kene Okwuosa are to be commended as vision-nurturers and catalysts whenever the story of Nollywood 2.0 is told,” Abuda said.

Coming on the heels of the success of their box office hits like 30 Days in Atlanta, A Trip to Jamaica, 10 Days in Sun City, Merry Men and The Accidental Spy has just completed Peekaboo Productions’ film project for 2019 titled Made in Heaven.

The Accidental Spy was an intriguing action drama laced with rib-cracking comedy. The movie tells the story of an IT specialist, Emmanuel Prince, who gets blind-sided by his cheating girlfriend.

When Prince travels to London and signs up for a reality show to take his mind off his recent woes, he unwittingly gets caught in the middle of a plot by a powerful Nigerian criminal cartel.

A co-production of Peekaboo Productions and Corporate World Entertainment, The Accidental Spy sees AY and Ramsey Nouah, the award-winning duo from 30 Days in Atlanta back in the saddle with a diverse and talented cast such as Alibaba (of The Wedding Party), Emma Oh My God (of The Wedding Party), Rahama Sadau (of TATU), David Jones David (of Hotel Majestic), Bucci Franklin (of Jemeji), Bryan Okwara, Hollywood actor, Miguel Nunez Jr. (of Juwana Man), South African star, Thenjiwe Moseley (of 10 Days in Sun City), and British debutante, Christine Allado, to name a few.
