Ogbudimkpa’s Pitch Mastery gets french edition

After the presentation of her book titled, Pitch Mastery, in the United States of America, Denmark, Canada and some other Western nations, Chioma Ogbudimkpa, the award winning business mentor, recently hosted a select audience at Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, to the Nigeria edition of her book unveiling.

The event saw a presentation of the book’s French edition. The duo of Sabine Kiwala and Anne Ebinum of Anglo Francais Nigeria Academy translated the book to French.

Highlighting its importance, the author said it is a blueprint for business owners and start-ups, as it would enable them master the art of exceptional business pitching and open doors of opportunities within and outside the country, grow their businesses, create sustainable value and impact their communities.

Ogbudimkpa, who won the national and continental prize of the Global Creative Business Cup competition in Copenhagen in 2019, disclosed that she has been able to access some of the most coveted entrepreneurship opportunities, raised up to $20m in funding for organisations and start-ups, helped entrepreneurs build stronger global networks to strengthen their reach and access opportunities across the globe because of her pitch.

She revealed that most times, organisations/start-up do not get the right attentions from their sponsors because they lack pitching techniques and getting it right will open doors of opportunities.

The 54-page easy to book, according to the author, contains some of the 10 lessons and experiences that have enable her remain at the top.

According to her, the book will enable readers identify their unique selling value that will position them for winning; improve success rate in grant writing, partnership proposals and investment pitches; master how to make high impact pitches and to build influence through global networks.

Unveiled by Samuel Ayodeji of Franco Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), who also took the first book reading, while the Chief Executive Officer, Donors for Africa Foundation, Chidi Koldsweat, handled the second reading.

Having enjoyed generous reviews by Tony Elumelu Foundation, Global Invest, Creative Business Network among others, the author noted that the book was not only written to educate ordinary readers, but as a give back to the society and to make businesses owners and professionals to progress in their businesses or chosen careers.

Ogbudimkpa is the founder and Creative Director of Redbutton, a fashion company, and the Co-founder of The Pitch Centre, a consulting company for start-up outfits.
