A television comedy series produced by Native Media Zone 222, producers of Hotel Majestic, Hush and The Johnsons now shows on Africa Magic by 8:30pm daily with a repeat by 9:30am.

A television comedy series produced by Native Media Zone 222, producers of Hotel Majestic, Hush and The Johnsons now shows on Africa Magic by 8:30pm daily with a repeat by 9:30am.

The comedy series which is based on the adventures and youthful exuberance of five male university students and their two female friends all with different personalities and interests emphasis on the perception of each student’s successes and how their unique approaches to life and school issues produce result. The main characters are Prof, Imported, Haji Kay, Fredo, Jambito, Fatimah and Josephine.

According to the Executive producer Roger Ofime, the series was shot at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and is set to dish out rib cracking humour, educate the youth on the culture of hard work and showcase the beauty of the Nigerian scenery. “Through the life of these five students, we will be telling the story of what happens among students in their campuses, what they go through, the kinds of students and you get to identify with them if you have gone through the university.

“The university symbolizes life and life comes with several tests and lessons; because it is comedy and episodic, we have taken out time to tell stories that relates to everyone. Some episodes are very sober, others are hilarious and that is what stands this production out.”

‘Till You’re 16’ is another series coming soon from the staple of Native Media Limited, a transnational story with 70 per cent shot in Canada and 30 per cent shot in Nigeria.
