When Hampton Preparatory School took over Terra Kulture stage

The pupils of Hampton Preparatory School, Lagos, were full of pleasant surprises recently, as they took over at Terra Kulture stage, to celebrate and showcase their prodigious talents.

The pupils of Hampton Preparatory School, Lagos, were full of pleasant surprises recently, as they took over at Terra Kulture stage, to celebrate and showcase their prodigious talents.

It was an impressive mix of drama, singing, dancing and poetry and the audience, which included parents, family members, friends and the public, was captivated from start to finish, with the lots of wonderful performances.

The children whose classes ranged from nursery to year six, rolled out an impressive array of dance, songs, and played variety of musical instruments, much to audience’s delight.

An elated school’s proprietress, Mrs. Kemi Balogun said the kids displayed eloquence, confidence, discipline and creativity.

She said: “ The school’s nativity was a traditional drama with a modern twist and it ended with an epic dance performance to The King is born. The dancers faces and actions exuded joy, laughter and were clearly in the festive spirit.”

Balogun said the management was determined to showcase the immense talents within each child and they are happy they achieved this in flying colours.

“Parents left with a huge smile on their faces and a deep sense of satisfaction at perfect end to 2018,” she added.

Impressed by the performance, those in attendance urged the organisers to make it a yearly event.
