Author of faith-based book, The Blessed Holy Spirit, Mrs. Bukkie Yoloye, has stressed the importance of depending on God for informed decisions, especially as the 2019 general elections approach.

She said if Nigerians should cease from judging people by their qualifications and experiences, the people would make better leadership choices.

According to her, “there is a tendency for people to judge you by facial reflections, promises, utterances that can be meaningless but if you trust in the Lord, he will lead you to making informed choices.”

The nine-chapter book, conceived 25 years ago, is very relevant at this period, when so many people are confused, despondent, weighed down by life’s challenges, the Holy Spirit serves as a the believers seal, guide and counsellor.

The author, who doubles as a human resource expert, added that Nigerians especially young people should not be moved by the things they see and the desire to have what the world has to offer but accept that there’s life with Jesus. “This is only achievable is they are exposed to the gospel and things will get better.”

The book reviewer, Ms. Yinka Fadare, said, “this is a practical, down to earth handbook, that can help a believer develop a richer, deeper and more fulfilling relationship with God.”

She added that it is a resource for the believer who is desirous of or actively engaged in fulfilling his or her God ordained ministry. It brings the truths of the Bible alive with real life examples, the author’s personal experiences and testimonies, and is replete with scriptural quotations.
