Award winning Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro, had a media premiere of her second movie as a producer, Ghana Must Go, on Tuesday. Held at the FilmHouse Surulere, it attracted a lot of media practitioners and guests from the film industry. Set to go to the cinemas nationwide from June 10, it stars Nkem Owoh, IK Ogbonna, Kofi Adjorlorlo, Ada Ameh, Helen Paul, and Okawa Shaznay among others.

Directed by Frank Rajah, the flick is a romantic comedy, which revolves around Nigeria and Ghana, Yvonne Okoro, who plays the role of Ama, a London-based Ghanaian lady, and Nigerian her boyfriend, Chuks, played by Blossom Chukwujekwu. Ama brings her lover home to meet her parents, resulting in all hell being let loose.

Ama’s parents, especially, her father refuses to give their blessings to the relationship, citing historical happenings between both neighbouring nations as reason for not accepting Chuks. The series of events that play out test the love and marriage of the young couple in the most hilarious and unexpected way.
