Lawrence Ugwunna Njoku is a Nigerian journalist with over 18 years' experience. He's a graduate of Mass Communication from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). Currently the Bureau Chief (Southeast) of The Guardian Newspapers, his work ranges from politics, economy, crime, health, sports and education, among others. He has won several awards, including Best Features Writer of the NUJ, Enugu State (2013), Best Political Writer of Enugu Correspondents' Chapel (2014), First Runner Up, NB Golden Pen Reporter (2015), and the Media Personality of the Year award of the Pacesetter Frontier Magazine (2023).
