President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated eight newly appointed federal commissioners into the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the National Population Commission (NPC).
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja ahead of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting
.
The appointments comprise two commissioners for the RMAFC and six for the NPC. The new appointees come from diverse professional backgrounds, including law, public administration, academia, immigration, governance and public service.
The appointments are expected to bolster the operations of both commissions as they continue to oversee revenue allocation, fiscal management and population administration, which are critical to national planning and economic development.
