At least 137 driver trainees have graduated from the Driver Training Academy (DTA), a subsidiary of ABC Transport.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Group Managing Director of ABC Transport, Jude Nneji, emphasised the importance of professionalism, discipline and continuous learning in the transport sector.
He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to high safety standards and sustained investment in structured driver training as part of its long-term operational strategy.
Also, representatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), in their goodwill messages, commended the academy for its role in promoting quality training and enhancing road safety standards nationwide.
The graduation ceremony, held at the academy’s premises in Owerri, Imo state, was and well-attended by stakeholders in the country’s auto industry.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were Boniface Ariri, Eze Udo IV of Obibi Uratta, Owerri North Local Government Area; Christiana Okey-Egwuumba, NABTEB State Coordinator and Onuegbu Vincent Onyekachi, a NABTEB official.
Also in attendance were senior representatives of the FRSC and the Nigeria Police, reflecting strong institutional support for the academy’s mission.
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of DTA and NABTEB certificates to the graduands by the Nneji, assisted by officials from FRSC and NABTEB.
