
Propak has pledged to implement cold chain technologies to reduce post-harvest loss and e-commerce platforms for food distribution during its forthcoming conference.
The conference, in its 11th edition, with the theme: “Unlocking Nigeria Food Security: Implementation of Smart Sustainable Packaging to Reduce Food Waste,” is aimed at complementing the growth and importance of the manufacturing sectors and ensuring sustainability is at the forefront of their efforts.
Speaking ahead of the conference, Jamie Pearson said: “With more than 20 speakers providing presentations and joining panel discussions throughout the day, it’s a must attend event for those in the industry.
“The keynote will be provided by the Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment (CCT&I), Mrs. Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, with other leading minds from the likes of Flour Mills of Nigeria, LAWMA, Crown Flour Mill Ltd, Helen Keller International and Value Ingredients Ltd, among those on the line up.
