Bayer unveils solutions for agro-allied sector, others at Lagos fair

To drive government’s diversification agenda, Bayer Middle Africa Limited has concluded plans to offer solutions needed to enhance productivity in the agro-allied sector through its support products and innovations at the ongoing Lagos International Trade Fair.

With a range of life science products cutting across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, crop protection, seeds and high-tech materials, the firm noted that participation at this year’s fair will help it take advantage of the special emphasis given to agricultural support products, scientific innovation, scientific technologies breakthrough, medication, pharmaceutical and healthcare by the organizers of the fair.

The firm explained that as an innovative company that develops products and solutions to improve life, based on vast research and development activities as well as understanding of the biochemical processes in living organisms, its presence at this year’s trade fair is a unique opportunity to tap into business opportunities that support the Nigerian economy to better diversify and grow sustainably.

For its pharmaceutical division, the firm stated that its focus is on prescription products, especially for cardiology and women’s healthcare, and on specialty therapeutics in the areas of oncology, hematology and ophthalmology.
