Nosh expands global reach: Enables international bill payments in 136 countries

Fintech platform Nosh has introduced an international bill payment feature allowing users to pay utility bills across 136 countries using local currencies such as naira and cedis.

Nosh, a fintech platform providing digital trading and payment services, has introduced a new International Bill Payments feature that allows users to pay utility bills across multiple countries directly from their Nosh account using their local currency.

The new capability enables users to settle essential services such as airtime, data subscriptions, electricity, internet services, cable television and water utilities in up to 136 countries. Payments can be completed using Naira or Cedis, while the platform automatically processes the necessary currency conversion in the background.

The company said the new feature is part of its broader effort to simplify cross-border financial transactions and expand access to global digital payment services.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Nosh, Ahmod Balogun, the feature addresses the growing need for easier international payment solutions among users who manage expenses across different countries. “People today live increasingly global lives. They travel, work remotely and support family members abroad. The International Bill Payments feature removes the friction associated with cross-border bill payments and allows users to settle essential services internationally from a single platform,” Balogun said.

With the feature, users can select their preferred country, choose from available network operators or service providers and complete payments instantly. The platform also allows users to search for countries and supported operators through a built-in search function.

By allowing users to pay international bills directly from their local wallets, the platform removes common barriers associated with foreign payments, including complex international transfers, exchange rate calculations and cross-border payment restrictions.

The feature also enables users to manage international payments through a single dashboard, track transactions through their account history and receive real-time notifications for successful or failed payments.

Nosh’s new service is designed to support a growing community of travellers, digital nomads, remote workers and international families who often need to manage financial obligations across multiple countries.

Beyond the new international bill payments feature, the platform provides several digital financial services including gift card trading, cryptocurrency sales, local bill payments, flight bookings and eSIM purchase and management.

Founded as a user-focused digital payments platform, Nosh continues to expand its services as it builds infrastructure aimed at simplifying both local and global financial transactions for its users.
