CITN to sustain tax discourse at yearly conference



The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) would be furthering discussions on the current economic realities in the tax space during its 21st Yearly Tax Conference slated for April 23 to Thursday April 25, 2019, at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Conference Centre & Suites, Kado, Abuja.

Besides, on Friday, April 26, 2019, the event will continue at Chida International Hotel, Plot 224, Solomon Lar Way Utako District, Garki, Abuja.

According to a statement signed by CITN’s Assistant Director of Corporate Services and Marketing Department, Mrs. Afolake Oso, the conference, with theme: “National Development: Unlocking the Potentials of Taxation”, has been packaged to be yet another rewarding experience for all.

It is to feature distinguished guest speakers, who will enrich the knowledge of delegates, with the sub-themes having been specially chosen to reflect the current economic realities in the tax space.

Already, the Federal Internal Revenue Service, Soft Alliance, CSDC Consulting Enterprise Solutions, Spectrum, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Bayelsa State Internal Revenue Service, Oyo State Government and Exxon Mobil, have emerged major sponsors of the event.

Others are Tetfund, Lagos Internal Revenue Service, KPMG, Andesen Tax, First Bank Nigeria Plc and Diamond Bank, while The Guardian newspaper is the Media Partner for the event.
