The three-day training called the ‘Future Planters Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 2024’ took place in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Speaking at the event on Wednesday, Mr Kefas Tigga, Executive Director of CICMED, said that the training would equip participants with the requisite knowledge to tackle the challenges of unemployment in the country.
He added that the organization had been running various entrepreneurship programmes since 2019 to facilitate and support community participation and engagement of youths and women.
He explained that the group was seeking social justice to ensure the inclusion of youths and women in the decision-making process based on the knowledge they have to contribute to the system.
“We have designed very rich programmes, cluster events, and services by community interest and needs as well as advocacy methodology to achieve effective results.
