Firm leverages sustainability, ethical practice to strengthen market penetration
A leading global fashion brand, Mango, has attributed its rising operational profile globally to sustainability and strong ethical practice. Marking seven years of expansion into the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the company decried the impact of COVID-19 on its operations.
The firm, in a release, said the pandemic however created a renewed effort aimed at efficiency and innovation in rendering services regardless of the global situation.
The firm said it would remain committed to customer satisfaction in the country. The organisation also noted that it would prioritise trendy fashion, quality craftsmanship, and women empowerment.
From its humble beginnings in Barcelona, Spain, the company said in a statement that the brand has evolved into a globally recognised brand with a strong presence in over 100 countries.
Its expansion into Abuja marked a significant milestone, bringing its unique blend of contemporary style and affordability to the city’s fashion-savvy residents, it noted.
Brand Manager of Mango, Annette Davies, said: “One thing that makes the Mango store at Jabi Lake Mall unique is the fact that our customers feel comfortable shopping with us. I’ve had people tell me on numerous occasions that sometimes, they go out of their way to visit the store just because they know that they will have a good experience. So, to us, it is not just about selling products, it’s about selling experiences.”
“The Covid pandemic changed a lot for us, for a business that thrives on physical interaction to a large extent, it was very challenging. Post lockdown, we learnt to be more efficient and innovative in rendering our services, that regardless of the global situation, customers trusted us enough to patronize our store.
“As we commemorate the seventh anniversary of our branch, we reflect on our remarkable journey and celebrate our loyal customers whose consistent patronage and trust have shaped our brand into the household name it is today. Looking ahead, MANGO remains committed to giving the best possible service and providing our customers with quality fashion-forward designs for any occasion.”
Davies said the company has in the past seven years consistently delivered collections that celebrate diversity and cater to a wide range of personal styles.
With its finger on the pulse of global fashion trends, the firm said the brand offers an extensive range of clothing, accessories, and footwear that empower women to express themselves confidently through their wardrobe choices.
