Firm seeks fresh capital to lead Africa’s e-Invoicing revolution

Afri Invoice Nigeria Limited

Afri Invoice Nigeria Limited has announced the commencement of a strategic investment round to accelerate the expansion of its e-invoicing and compliance infrastructure across Nigeria and other African markets.

The Lagos-based technology company said the move was aimed at meeting growing demand for digital compliance solutions as regulatory agencies intensify the enforcement of structured e-invoicing, tax-aligned reporting and real-time transaction validation.

Afri Invoice provides automated invoice validation, structured data exchange and regulatory reporting services, enabling businesses to meet evolving compliance requirements while minimising disruptions to their operations.

The company said its platform was designed to support Africa’s transition to digital compliance systems, which are increasingly being adopted across various sectors.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Afri Invoice, Mark Odenore, said the company was scaling its operations to meet the growing demand for digital compliance infrastructure.

Odenore said, “Africa’s compliance infrastructure is undergoing a fundamental shift, and Afri Invoice is leading that transformation. This is not a future opportunity; it is happening now, and every business will require structured e-invoicing and automated compliance to remain competitive.”

He added, “We are building the backbone of Africa’s digital compliance economy. Investors who understand regulation, infrastructure and scale recognise the size and urgency of this opportunity. Afri Invoice is not chasing the market; the market is accelerating toward us.”

As part of the investment drive, the company is targeting investors who have previously backed Nigerian fintech infrastructure companies, including Monnify, Flutterwave and Interswitch.

Afri Invoice said such investors have experience with the regulatory requirements, infrastructure demands and growth potential associated with Africa’s digital economy, making them potential partners for its next phase of expansion.

The company said funds raised through the investment round would be deployed toward expanding its engineering team, scaling infrastructure, strengthening regulatory integrations and onboarding thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises and large businesses across Nigeria and other emerging African markets.

Afri Invoice Nigeria Limited is an e-invoicing and compliance platform that helps African businesses automate tax-aligned invoicing, streamline reporting and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
