Insurer offers 200 female entrepreneurs financial support

In an effort to encourage women in business across the country, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has provided financial support to over 200 female Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) owners.

This was disclosed at a capacity development conference organised by SME 100 Africa, in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

SME 100 Africa is a social enterprise that supports young African entrepreneurs in their journey towards professional success.

Speaking during the conference, Chief Client Officer, AXA Mansard, Rashidat Adebisi, said collaborating with SME 100 to empower SMEs was a platform to inspire and empower women.

According to her, the underwriter is committed to supporting brilliant business ideas and owners. The forum was a way of raising awareness about the different socio-economic possibilities of unlocking the potential of women either in business, career or other social endeavours.
