Scarlet has intensified efforts to equip Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with practical strategies and financial support aimed at building sustainable businesses and accelerating growth.
Financial analyst and entrepreneur, Miss Ezebuiro Uchechi Peace, who disclosed this, said the initiative was focused on expanding access to finance and strengthening the capacity of MSMEs to effectively manage capital.
Peace said the ability of MSMEs to develop effective capital strategies was critical to transforming business opportunities into sustainable revenue, stressing the need to make finance more accessible to entrepreneurs.
According to her, business growth does not happen by accident, but is driven by the ability of enterprises to create value, attract and retain customers, and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue.
She said Scarlet recognised that many MSMEs had quality products and services but lacked the capital required to unlock their full potential.
“At Scarlet, we recognise that many Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs, possess great products and services but often require capital to unlock their full potential.
“Through different initiatives, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to equipping MSMEs with the knowledge, capacity, and support needed to accelerate growth, create jobs, and strengthen Nigeria’s economy,” she said.
Peace added that the Scarlet initiative was geared towards broader efforts to support the growth and resilience of MSMEs through capacity development, business advisory services and financial solutions.
She said the approach would help businesses improve their capacity, access appropriate financial solutions and build stronger foundations for long-term sustainability.
MSMEs remain a critical component of Nigeria’s economy, providing employment opportunities, supporting livelihoods and contributing significantly to economic activity across various sectors.
