Voice, Data and Telephony (VDT) Communications has moved into the retail broadband market with the launch of 4G LTE advanced service.

Abiodun Omoniyi, managing director, VDT Communications, said at the company’s triple impact event where the service was unveiled that the 4G LTE Advanced is the first of its kind in Nigeria that offers subscribers more bandwidth for real broadband service.

“We started small, but today we are known for providing robust services to corporates and we believe as well as determined to ensure that Nigerians enjoy quality broadband services which led us into retail services,” he said.

He said that the service is available in Lagos Island, Victoria Island while Ikeja is expected to come alive by the end of this month.

The launch of VDT Communications 4G LTE Advanced service is made possible with the acquisition of 2.3Ghz spectrum by Bitflux Communications consortium of which VDT Communications is a member.

Omoniyi reaffirmed his company’s commitment to delivering world-class services evident in VDT Communications acquisition of international service delivery certifications.

“This will be replicated in our 4G LTE Advanced retail market. For us excellence is not a destination but a journey towards ensuring that our customers are taken care of,” he added.
