The Creative Kids Zone Initiative (TCKZone) has honoured stakeholders in the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, as well as other key contributors in Lagos State for advancing digital literacy across the state.
The group also celebrated honorees for their roles in bridging the digital skills gap for underserved students in the state. Executive Director of the group, Oluwadamilola Ojo, said each of these leaders has played an important role in empowering public secondary school students with necessary tools needed to thrive in today’s digital economy.
While emphasising the importance of these partnerships, Ojo said: “Our mission to bridge the digital divide in Africa wouldn’t have been possible without the steadfast support from these incredible leaders. They have truly been champions for digital education, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to our cause.”
The awards also recognised volunteers for their contribution towards advancing education and bridging the digital divide in the state.
