The University of Abuja has announced the postponement of its Quarterly Guest Lecture Series earlier scheduled to hold on Monday, March 2, 2026.

In a statement issued by the university’s management on Sunday, the institution said the decision was necessitated by ‘unforeseen scheduling adjustments’

The lecture, which was expected to bring together members of the academic community and other stakeholders, will now hold on a later date.

The university assured the general public that a new date for the event would be communicated in due course.

The statement reads: “The University of Abuja wishes to inform the general public that the Quarterly Guest Lecture Series earlier scheduled to hold tommorrow Monday 2nd March 2026 has been postponed.

“The postponement is due to unforeseen scheduling adjustments. A new date for the event will be communicated in due course.

“The University regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding of all invited guests and stakeholders”.
