Nipco wins award

Nipco Plc, an integrated oil and gas company has bagged twin awards in the hydrocarbon industry for its seamless operations, effective handling, storage and distribution of white products and gas across the country at the Oil &  Gas Innovation Awards  2016  organised by  BusinessDay –Oval Energy.

The awards namely, Downstream Marketing Company of the Year and LPG Distribution Company of the Year were presented to the company at an elaborate event in Lagos.

Speaking at the event, Publisher /CEO BusinessDay Media Limited, Frank Aigbogun said the awards were not only open and transparent but its integrity too cannot be questioned as verifiable parameters were used in selection process of all companies nominated and eventual winners.

According to him, the organization Research and Intelligence Unit carried extensive research using different factors on all companies involved in the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil & gas industry.

Nipco’s awards, the organisers noted was the fallout of the organization prime roles in the effective distribution of petroleum products across the nooks and crannies of the country, a feat that even elicited the commendation of stakeholders including the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) recently.
