The Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal is currently in London attending the Kaduna Electric Franchise Energy Summit, a high-level forum themed “Driving Energy Investment and Regional Development.”

The Governor is participating alongside the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, and the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Nasiru Idris.

The summit also includes top government dignitaries such as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), commissioners, Special Advisers, and the Executive Secretaries of the Zamfara Electrification Agency and the Zamfara Investment Promotion Agency.

Held in the United Kingdom, the summit prioritizes investment opportunities within the Kaduna Electric franchise area and the operationalization of the 2023 Electricity Act, with a focus on unlocking private sector participation and enhancing energy access across the region.
