Premier Lotto Financial Director, Sir Kensington Adebutu, has expressed willingness to sponsor a project(s) worth N50m in his alma mater, Remo Secondary School (RSS), Sagamu, Ogun State.

Adebutu spoke during the commissioning and dedication of the school’s remodeled assembly hall and six classroom blocks, which he funded. The project cost about N20m.

The financial director, who is better known as “Baba Ijebu” said his decision to give back is to his alma mater was to “show appreciation to God for his mercies on me. Many people work harder than me and yet they are not getting the reward I am getting.”

He urged the leadership of RSS Old Students Association to “look for a project not more than N50m,” for him to bankroll.

Reacting to a plea by the school’s senior prefect, Opeyemi Odunuga, that the new structure needs to be furnished, Adebutu pledged to make available in a couple of days, a total of 240 pairs for the six classes.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Modupe Mujota, described Adebutu as a man with “unparalleled interest” in the development of education.
