The maiden edition of the AI4Educators Initiative, spearheaded by data expert Tosin Ojo, was successfully held in Osu, Atakunmosa West Local Government, Osun State. The initiative, which focuses on AI and data adoption strategy for businesses and educators, brought together teachers and corps members working in schools to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in education.
The event featured insightful sessions led by facilitators, including Victoria Mbah, a key facilitator, who emphasized the undeniable impact of AI on education and the necessity for educators, students, and stakeholders to embrace the evolving landscape.
“We cannot deny the impact of AI in today’s world. Educators, students, and all stakeholders in the education sector must adapt and integrate AI-driven tools into learning and teaching processes,” Mbah stated during her session.
The AI4Educators Initiative is designed to equip teachers with the necessary AI knowledge and skills, enabling them to enhance teaching methodologies, improve student engagement, and prepare learners for the future workforce. The interactive sessions covered AI-powered educational tools, personalized learning experiences, and ethical considerations in AI adoption.
