Boldness is not loud, it is confident, intentional – Motunrayo Ojuolape Raheem

“Leadhers in Marketing

Curated as an evening of elegance, expression and excellence to celebrate the International Women’s Day (IWD), BOLD ’98 Irish Whiskey brought together a dynamic mix of women and men who are leaders, creatives, and tastemakers, for an evening centered on boldness, confidence, and refined expression.

The evening officially opened with a warm address by Brand Ambassador, Ogechi Azubuike, who set the tone for what would become a deeply engaging experience. Guests were invited to share their personal “brew stories”, moments of boldness, growth, and individuality, creating an atmosphere that was both reflective and celebratory.

One of the highlights of the evening was the live culinary session led by Chef Rukayat Momoh, popularly known as Chef Giggles, who introduced guests to the art of whiskey pairing and garnishing. Guests were grouped into teams for a hands-on pairing challenge, blending creativity with flavour as they explored how BOLD ’98 complements food experiences, reinforcing its versatility and smooth character.

At the heart of it all, Executive Director Motunrayo Ojuolape Raheem reinforced a defining truth that boldness is not loud, it is confident, intentional, and deeply personal. And most importantly, a statement that when brand, culture, and experience align, something truly unforgettable is created.

The evening reached a powerful moment with a session led by Omowunmi Akinnifesi, who delivered an inspiring talk on confidence, personal branding, and elegance in premium spaces. Her insights reinforced the core theme of the evening, boldness as a lifestyle, not just a statement.

From live music performances by Nate Furey, an Irish artiste specially invited to curate the evening’s sound, and Femi Leye, the duo delivered a seamless blend of Irish heritage and contemporary African expression, creating a vibrant, immersive atmosphere.
