As part of its believe that “the health of a nation is more important than the wealth of a nation,” CharterHouse Pharmaceuticals (CHP) was at the just concluded future assured initiative programme of her Excellency Aisha Buhari, which was held at the Loyola College Ibadan, Oyo State recently.

The programme which was the first in the series of the Future Assured initiative of the First Lady, Her Excellency Aisha Buhari, brought out women from the thirty-one local government areas of Oyo state for free medical screening to ascertain their health status.

Speaking at the event with fellow healthcare providers and medical practitioners, the Managing Director CharterHouse Pharmaceutics, Ope Oyinlola, said this is a great initiative and CHP decided to be a central part of it with the provision of drugs to the programme for sharing to Oyo state women that are in need of it.

According to Oyinlola, CHP’s mission is to improve the quality of life of every Nigerian through the provision of quality, effective, safe and affordable healthcare products. This programme falls in line with our mission as a company, which states that “the health of a nation is more important than the wealth of a nation,” for only through a healthy population can a nation truly grow in every aspect.

“Our presence here is based on this mission and the Future Assured Programme affords us opportunity to bring to the fore in practical terms what we stand for. It gives us opportunity to work alongside the wife of the President, Her Excellency Aisha Buhari. Supporting her and Oyo state makes us contribute to the improvement of the health of every Nigerian regardless of their social status.”
