Greensprings School celebrates 40 years of excellence

Greensprings School recently celebrated 40 years of qualitative teaching and learning, with a pledge to continually uphold the legacy of its founders, while adapting to the ever-changing landscape of education.
The ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to the school’s journey since inception in 1985. The day was filled with songs of praise, prayers, and speeches that acknowledged its growth and impact on generations of learners.
Executive Director of the school, Mrs Lai Koiki, attributed the success to God’s divine providence.She restated the school’s commitment to promoting lifelong learning in an atmosphere that motivates students to be confident and responsible global citizens.
The school marked the occasion with a grand celebration at the Fountain of Life Church, where students, parents, alumni, staff, and well-wishers gathered to give thanks for four decades of educational excellence and service.
The service featured a short exhortation from Toluwani Odukoya, an alumnus of the school, who emphasised the calling of teachers. Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, said the school is a representation of character-building, innovation, and commitment to shaping future leaders.
“Throughout its history, Greensprings School has been a trailblazer in education, providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually,” he stated.
