Firm decries high level of adulterated consumables in Nigerian market
The managing director PNJ ventures, Paul Njoku, has lamented on the high inflow of adulterated health related consumables in the Nigerian market stressing on its socio economic consequence to the society at large.
Njoku mentioned that the ‘get rich quick syndrome’ is a canker worn that has eaten deep in Nigerians, making ‘us’ to forget the right procedure of doing things.
To counter this scourge, the PNJ ventures in partnership with Rising Light Global Company, a marketing outsourcing firm that has penchant for excellence and good delivery, recently in Lagos launched Kumfy Nappy Pants in grand style.
“The product which is approved by National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) posses the United States of America (USA) specifications with 100 per cent pulp made from breathable cloth that allows air inflow to always keep the baby comfortable. It also comes with Velcro tape that helps to adjust the diaper to the baby’s size and also the Velcro tape cannot be deterred by lotion or powder,” Njoku said.
He added that the unique aspect of the product is that it comes with scientific wetness indicator which enables the mother without opening the nappy pant will be to know when it is filled up. Njoku said it is a source of great relief to nursing mothers and babies themselves, that it is a technology improvement of some sort, which will ensure that the issue of rashes and skin surfaces pores usually noticed on babies because of continual wetness is being taken care of.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rising Light Global Limited, Leo Ebegbuna, in his remarks confirmed that six million babies are being delivered annually and a lot need to be done to make sure the live a comfortable life since they cannot speak or themselves.
He also said that very soon the company they are partnering with in the project will be rolling out nappy pants that will take care of extreme aged adults, who certainly will not be able to take care of themselves unless aided.
