ArcromRide, a technologically innovative, optimised ride/cab service app has been launched in Lagos with a view to giving optimum service to users of cabs in Nigeria, and by extension, to Africa.

This product, coming up with innovation consistent with modern technology would also create employment opportunities.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, ArcromRide, Obi Oriaku, said the initiative was aimed at offering better benefits, support and value for customers’ money and all-round excellence.

He said the product is aimed at delivering benefits that have never been seen before to both drivers and customers. It contains features such as prioritising driver and customer safety with NIN verification embedded into the app registration process.

He revealed other features to include the ability of clients and drivers to see photos of each other as well as high-quality customer support for drivers and customers, resolving queries in real-time.

Oriaku described ArcromRide as ‘owned by the people for the people’, a mobile-first, cloud-first solution that is scalable and reliable, with data processing time significantly reduced by up to 50 per cent achieved by building new cloud data infrastructure, leading to more timely insights and simplified one to one real-time communication and updates using server-less code.

“We are aware of the frustrations being experienced by both drivers and customers who currently use existing driver apps. Hence, we are aimed at operating a model that bridges the gaps in the market and remains innovative by listening to the voice of drivers and riders, implementing necessary change in a manner that remains adaptive to their current and future needs.

“This is the only app that creates space to listen to what Nigerians need and provides that for them.

Competition is a good thing because it strengthens the market and also provides more job opportunities,” he said.

Oriaku who assured that ArcromRide would always serve Nigerians in a unique way said the product would soon spread from Lagos to other African countries.
