Your thoughts become things

I am a fact guy. Use decent scientific methods, and prove it to me, and you’ve got my attention. Well, something got my attention this week as I taught in my SHARP (Science of Healing, Harmony, Happiness, Abundance, Restoration and Peace) masterclass.

Have you ever had an insight or gained knowledge that both excites and scares you at the same time?
I am a fact guy. Use decent scientific methods, and prove it to me, and you’ve got my attention. Well, something got my attention this week as I taught in my SHARP (Science of Healing, Harmony, Happiness, Abundance, Restoration and Peace) masterclass.

We’ve believed in the therapy field for years now. i.e. how powerfully impactful thoughts influence the quality of our daily lives. In the last 2 years, especially with having to survive during the Covid 19 pandemic and living in his New VUCAD (Volatile, Unpredictable, Complex, Ambiguous and Disruptive) world. I’ve gone as far as to publicly say that you manifest everything in your life through your conscious and unconscious thoughts. The good, bad and ugly.

In doing so, I’ve put myself out on a limb, without my usual propensity for solid evidence to prove what I was saying to be correct. It “felt” correct so I’d begun believing and teaching this principle – YOUR THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS!
We’ve all been superstitious enough, or around those who are, who’ve said, “Watch out what you ask for, you just may get it.”

As it turns out there’s a whole lot more truth in this statement than we ever knew.
What’s scary is that over 95% or more of us really have no idea “what” we are asking for! I.e through our daily random thought patterns.

It is said that approximately 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts go through our minds daily and 30% of these thoughts cover our general daily activities while 75% of the rest of our thoughts are negative, disempowering and limiting thoughts.
What percentage of these thoughts are you consciously aware of?
How many are dreadful thoughts?
How many are hopeless thoughts?
How many have to do with what you’ll never achieve?
How many are grateful thoughts?
How many are peaceful, happy, abundant, healthy, harmonious and loving thoughts?
How many are inspiring, future oriented thoughts?

I will never ask you to simply become a positive thinker. Although many have preached this concept to many who have failed miserably at trying to implement it.
“Becoming” a positive thinker is a rich goal. The magic, however, is in the journey alongside creating and holding positive and empowering beliefs and actions. And, if you have a mind coach and some practical steps, all you need is the commitment and you will arrive at your destination.
However, be very gentle with yourself along the way.
Here are 5 practical steps to a New World.
1) Begin by measuring the content of your thought and belief patterns
2) Don’t criticize your patterns
3) Seek understanding first
4) Honor the negative patterns for doing the best they ‘thought and belief’ could do on your behalf
5) Re-contract with your patterns for your “desired” future
