Meadow Hall Foundation (MHF) a non-governmental organisation, which partners individuals, public and private organisations to implement sustainable initiatives, projects and programmes that support teachers, students, schools, and communities is set to hold its third edition of the education convention.

The event, billed to hold on Saturday, May 4 at the Landmark Event Centre is titled, ‘Accelerating national development through education.’

According to the Chief Executive Officer, Meadow Hall Group, Mrs Kehinde Nwani, the convention provides an opportunity for teachers, school owners, parents, government officials, policy-makers and other stakeholders to gain fresh perspectives on pertinent educational issues from their interactions with Nigerian teachers and educational experts and various stakeholders.”

‘Our vision is to improve the educational outcomes of the Nigerian Child through enhancing teaching quality, changing mindsets about teaching and advocating for the teaching profession.

The convention would draw over 1,000 key stakeholders in the sector and will feature keynote address, panel discussions, seminars and professional networking.

The foundation will also reward passionate, outstanding, hardworking and innovative teachers and school teachers with N5.2Mm in its Inspirational Educator Awards (INSEA), aimed at elevating the teaching profession and motivating teachers and school leaders to continue to strive for excellence in their profession.
