In gratitude to Almighty Allah for His bounties, favours and mercies, the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and now candidate APC Lagos West Senatorial District on the platform of The All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Oluranti Adebule, has marked her 52nd birthday celebration with a special prayer and empowerment of people with disabilities.

The beneficiaries of the empowerment programme were supported with N100,000 each.

Speaking at the special prayer, former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, congratulated the celebrant and described her as a true democrat and dependable leader who could be relied on for democratic dividends. “She is a woman worthy of celebration and that is why I’m here to fully identify with her and I also pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless her with more years in good health,” he said.

The Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Rosulu Olushola, also commended the celebrant and urged voters to vote for credible leaders. “It is our responsibility to elect our leaders and I want to implore everybody to exercise their civic responsibility by electing good leaders. We want you to come out en masse and vote in the next general election.”

Adebule also used the occasion to assure Lagosians of quality and progressive representation when elected.

“More women should be given the chance, women will deliver and keep to promise. We will do the party proud when given the opportunity,” she said.
